These note was issued by the Japanese for their invasion and occupation of Burma (now Myanmar) during World War II.  Also existing with value of 1, 5, and 10  Rupees notes . The notes all pictured the famed Ananda Temple in Pagan (Bagan). The historic notes are a reminder of Japan’s failed attempt to dominate the Far-East. Billet de 50 Sen 1944 10 Yen 1 Yen
